Best known for her roles as a TV presenter and radio host, Laura Whitmore has hosted some of the most popular shows in the UK.
Beginning her career hosting news bulletins for MTV in Ireland, Laura went on to present an array of MTV events around the country until 2008.
Best known for her five-year stint as a host on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! alongside Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon, Laura also presented reality show Survival of the Fittest. She currently presents her own radio show on BBC Radio 5.
In 2016, Laura became a contestant on the fourteenth series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. And continuing to prove she is a woman of many talents, Laura became the host of her very own podcast about podcasts, CASTaway.
In December 2019, it had been announced that Laura will be the new host of ITV’s hottest reality dating show, Love Island, working alongside her husband and the shows narrator, Iain Stirling.
As a regular user of Instagram, Laura often takes to the social media platform to document her TV work, her favourite outfits as well as sharing images from days out and holidays with her boyfriend. Laura uses social media to raise awareness of a number of important topics including the gender pay gap and is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
At the end of 2020, Laura announced that she was expecting her first child, and continues to prove that she is fiercely powerful and independent.
Using her platform, Laura passionately discusses female empowerment and body positivity, and has recently written and released her first book. Titled No One Can Change Your Life Except For You, Laura's book shares her experiences of life, touching on everything from heartbreak and body image to taking back control and being in charge of your own life.
