Ashley Cain is known as a former Coventry City footballer and reality TV star turned heroic father.

He began playing football for Coventry City in 2008, and has also played for Luton, Oxford United and Mansfield Town. However, Cain had to give up football when he suffered an injury in 2012 and just two years later, he turned to reality TV.

He’s appeared on our television screens on reality show Ex on the Beach, as well as being a contestant on The Challenge, showing his playful, flirtatious personality. And, more recently, it was announced that Ashley would be taking part in the latest series of SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2022. 

Ashley is also no stranger to modelling, having worked with brands like Kalibre Clothing and The Couture Club.

However, in 2020, Ashley became even more popular across social media due to heart breaking circumstances. His daughter, Azaylia, passed away at just 8 months old following a battle with Leukeamia.

Using his platform to raise awareness of children’s cancers, Ashley has continued to raise money for childhood cancer research, to support the lack of funding and resources available. 

Ashley shared his family's journey, documenting his daughter’s battle with cancer and continues to share his work for The Azaylia Foundation, which he founded to honour his daughter’s memory. Now, Ashley takes part in a number of gruelling physical and mental challenges – all for his daughter. 

The reality TV star and doting father also shares his passion for fitness, showcasing cycling and running videos on his Instagram to his almost two million followers.
