Charlene White is a British television broadcaster, journalist and presenter best known for presenting ITV News programmes. Being born and raised in Greenwich, London, Charlene has also been an anchor for ITV’s talk show Loose Women.

Appearing on a number of news channels such as ITV News London, ITV Morning News, ITV News at Ten and ITV Lunchtime News, Charlene has reported on some of the biggest stories in recent times. 

In April 2014, Charlene made history as she became the first black woman to present the ITV News at Ten, which was an incredible achievement for her and many other black women alike, inspiring and motivating the community. 

2020 and 2021 marked the years where Charlene was listed in the Powerlist for the top 100 most influential people in the UK of African/African-Caribbean descent. 

Taking a break from her conventional and more serious work, Charlene appeared on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox alongside her friend, presenter, and stand-up comedian Judi Love. Bringing laughter to the nation, the viewers loved Charlene’s cameo on the show. 

Charlene is set to take on one of her biggest challenges yet. Going down under to appear in the jungle for the 2022 series of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here! We are excited to see what she can bring to the camp and how she will get along with all the spiders and snakes, as well as her fellow campmates.
