About Crystal...

Crystal is a inspirational drag artist and presenter known for her bold persona and vibrant presence in the queer community. As a contestant on RuPaul’s Drag Race UK Season 1 and the host of the celebratory queer podcast, The Things That Made Me Queer, Crystal has showcased her unique blend of theatricality and charisma. Her dynamic career as a presenter includes fronting the Canadian reality dating show Group Sext and serving as the official correspondent for Canada’s Drag Race on BBC Three. Additionally, her appearances on Strictly Frooked Up! and celebrity interviews for Attitude’s social platforms highlight her versatility and wide-reaching appeal.

Crystal's roots in East London’s colourful queer community and her involvement in politics make her a prominent figure in the new generation of UK drag. Her unique drag aesthetic—combining high fashion, gender play, and punk sensibility—has earned her features in revered fashion titles like Hunger and KALTBLUT. As a performer, she fearlessly fuses theatre, circus, and aerial play, dazzling audiences across the UK and North America with routines that incorporate art school creativity and daring techniques such as angle grinding, whip play, and aerial acrobatics. Crystal also co-produces and hosts the iconic East London Drag Circus show Mariah and Friendz at Bethnal Green Working Men’s Club, a night celebrated for its pioneering and inclusive performances.

As a Canadian living in London for a decade, Crystal has deeply embedded herself within the local LGBTQIA+ community, advocating for queer issues, racial equality, and climate change. She has contributed opinion pieces on diversity issues for Metro and has been recognised by Attitude magazine and National Student Pride for her work challenging gender identity through drag. Her campaigning efforts include supporting the Labour Party, fundraising for LGBTQIA+ organisations like The Outside Project and Colours Youth, and supporting the Minnesota Freedom Fund. These endeavours showcase her commitment to social justice and community support, further establishing her as a powerful and influential figure.

Crystal's podcast, The Things That Made Me Queer, produced with World of Wonder, explores the spectrum of queerness through the memories of esteemed queer guests such as MNEK, Detox, Shea Couleé, and Juno Dawson. Recommended by major publications like The Guardian, METRO, and Bustle, the podcast underscores Crystal's ability to engage and captivate diverse audiences. Her belief in drag as a means to dismantle the patriarchy and liberate individuals from gender norms, coupled with her radical self-expression, makes her an ideal candidate for efficient brand marketing, product, or campaign endorsement across a wide variety of companies. Crystal's unique perspective and bold presence are why she is hired to bring creativity and authenticity to any campaign.
