And that’s a wrap! I’m A Celebrity 2019 has now come to an end, with Jacqueline Jossa being crowned the Queen of the jungle. We’ve seen some hilarious, shocking and emotional moments along the way, so to be the last celeb standing after an intense 3 weeks in jungle conditions is an impressive achievement.

Earning the honourable title of King or Queen of the jungle is a dream of many celebrities, with many celebs looking to be the victorious one in seasons to come. However, there is always more to come out of this hit TV show than just a crown…

Whilst many celebs go into the jungle with an already established and overwhelming following on social media, it’s inevitable that the public's favourite celebrities will continue to grow in numbers. Whilst our beloved celebrities have been getting up close and personal with creepy crawlies, we’ve been closely monitoring the 2019 participants of I’m A Celeb to determine who has gained the most followers, earning them the title of King/Queen of the Social Media Jungle.

The following information is based on the last 5 celebs that remained in the jungle.

1. Roman Kemp – 728K followers

Naturally, the leader of the list is Capital FM’s radio DJ, Roman Kemp. Establishing himself as a firm fan-favourite from the get-go, the 26-year-old was predicted to have the highest chance of winning by bookies across the UK.

With an impressive 242% increase in followers on Instagram and the encouraging support from friends at Capital FM radio, Roman Kemp was able to win over our hearts with ease. One way he was able to do this was with his incredible and hilarious Caitlyn Jenner impressions that had the nation cry-laughing every night. Seriously, how does he sound more like Caitlyn than Caitlyn does!?

With his infectious personality and entertaining stories of his father-son relationship with Spandau Ballet singer, Martin Kemp, we aren’t surprised to see Roman’s social numbers sky-rocket the way they have.

Although finding it hard to be away from his family, Andy became emotional in the final of I’m A Celeb 2019, revealing it was an honour to take part and get so far.

Andy quickly become a firm fan favourite after his first Bush Tucker trial, with fans tweeting claiming that he was absolutely hilarious to watch! This sense of humour earned him a 225% increase in followers on Instagram.

Rightfully so, Andy won runner-up of the 19th season, as well as earning himself second place in the social media rankings. Representing the “everyday man”, many viewers will continue to look up to Andy in the weeks after the show.

3. Nadine Coyle – 333K followers

Making an appearance for the 19th series of the show is the former Girls Aloud singer and solo artist, Nadine Coyle. Gorgeous Derry girl Nadine has openly shared her fears of just about everything, entering the jungle in the hope to get out of her comfort zone.

One of her best moments on the show included her Gillian Mckeith impression, which saw her imitating the iconic “fainting” from the 2010 series. Viewers were left in fits of laughter, which saw Nadine’s following increased by 148% as a subtle hats-off to the celebs sense of humour.

After recreating Myleene Klass’s iconic shower scene, Nadine certainly had heads turning and social media followers increasing! With a heart of gold and wonderful personality, Nadine earnt herself thousands of more followers on Instagram as a result of appearing on the show.

5. Jacqueline Jossa – 2M followers

Going into the jungle with an already impressive following of 1.5M, Jacqueline Jossa was able to increase her Instagram following by 33%, taking her to 2 million followers before being crowned the Queen of the Jungle 2019. Jacqueline was able to earn the respect of thousands of people across the nation, as she was one of the first unfortunate celebs to face their fears on the show.

The frightening and emotional bush tucker trial involved her having her head secured in a glass globe, filled with huntsman spiders. Many took pity on the mum of 3 but commended her bravery as she faced the trial head-on (pun intended).

Securing her place as a fan favourite amongst the other female campmates, Jacqueline’s online profile raised by over 500,000 followers and after winning the show, we expect her following to continue to grow.

What’s in the Pipeline for These Celebrity Influencers?

After previous seasons of I’m A Celeb, we’ve seen celebrity contestants become both product promoters, as well as launching their own brands following the end of the show. For example, 2018’s winner and former football legend Harry Redknapp partnered up with Heidi bakery to produce non-other than jam roly polys after his cravings on the show. On the back of this, 20% of profits made from sales went to Homelessness charity Hope Housing.

It’s not just the winners that get sweet brand deals! Runner up of 2019 Emily Atack went on to launch her own collaborative collection with fashion giant In The Style.
