Most Liked Instagram Posts in 2020
2020 is almost over, which means it’s time for our yearly roundup of the most liked photos on Instagram.
With one billion monthly active users on the app, Instagram is one of the most popular social media platforms on the market. And with the introduction of brand-new features, will photos be overtaken by Reels? Either way, Instagram is here to stay and if we’re not posting, we are most definitely scrolling.
So, have you been wondering if the famous egg from 2019 is still sat firmly at the top spot? Well, let’s find out!
1. World Record Egg
Yes, the world record egg has done it again! This tiny egg has continued to break the internet and Kylie Jenner’s previous record of 18 million likes.
With almost 55 million likes on Instagram, it is going to take something truly special to beat it!
The second most liked photo on Instagram is from XXXTentacion. This image was the final post before his tragic death in 2018.

The image shared was a true reflection of his personality and character and the caption shows his dedication and love for his career.
5. Kylie Jenner
The announcement of Stormi Webster’s arrival features yet again in this blog. The anticipation took over the Internet last year, so it is no surprise that it still remains in the top five liked posts on Instagram with over 18.5 million likes.
Similarly to Christiano Ronaldo, expect to see a lot more of Kylie throughout this blog.
