KSI, also known as JJ, is a British YouTube star who has amassed a global following with his YouTube videos, song and album releases, professional boxing fights and business ventures. Since starting his YouTube channel in 2008, he has dominated the YouTube scene, becoming one of the biggest names in the UK, with the limelight on his hilarious videos and winning personality.

Born Olajide Olatunji, JJ rose to fame after publishing videos of him playing popular game titles like FIFA and Call of Duty. Since then, his career has gone from strength-to-strength boasting an immense following with tens of millions of YouTube subscribers and over ten billion combined total views.

As well as two very popular individual channels, KSI teamed up with six other avid YouTube creators to create a group known as the Sidemen. The group upload videos of challenges, sketches, gameshow spin-offs and video game compilations for their millions of followers to enjoy, posting once a week on Sundays, with them naming it ‘Sidemen Sunday’.

Growing in popularity, KSI has also got a successful music career. Always having a passion for music, especially rap, he has released a vast number of singles as well as studio albums. His first album coming in 2020, named ‘Dissimulation’ debuting at number two in the UK Albums Charts. ‘All Over The Place’, his second album, came a year later and this time managed to reach the top spot in the same charts, adding to JJ’s impressive accolades.

In early 2018, JJ made his amateur boxing debut against content creator Joe Weller, after the pair had multiple public disagreements. After just three rounds, KSI managed to win by technical knockout, making heads turn from some of the biggest names in the sport. Fast forward to today and ‘The Nightmare’ KSI is a professional boxing fighter with an unbeatable record of three wins, two of which coming by knockout, and zero losses.

JJ’s most famous battle came against the American YouTube giant, Logan Paul. After a long-term rivalry between the pair, the two decided to take it to ring, fighting on two different occasions. The first, in Manchester, was classed as an amateur fight and ended in a controversial draw. With demand for a rematch from eager fans, it was only inevitable that the pair got back in the ring, only this time it was classed as a professional fight. With the second bout in Los Angeles, KSI manged to beat Logan via a split decision, solidifying his name in the professional boxing world.

Since then, KSI has furthered his entrepreneurial career, becoming a co-founder of multiple businesses. Teaming up with his friends from the Sidemen, the group have used their platform to release two businesses, XIX Vodka, a chain of premium vodka, and Sides, a chain of fast food restaurants. His most popular business venture is PRIME Hydration. Teaming up with once boxing opponent, Logan Paul, the pair have released a line of energy drinks, sponsoring English football giants Arsenal F.C.
