Sonny Jay is best known for his role as a presenter and radio DJ on Capital’s Breakfast show alongside Roman Kemp and Sian Welby. 

Beginning his career as a singer and musician, Sonny was a member of the group Loveable Rogues who reached the finals of Britain’s Got Talent in 2012. 

But now, Sonny has swapped microphones and guitars for headphones as he moved into the world of broadcasting and radio. 

Throughout his career, Sonny has interviewed celebrities at events including the BRIT Awards. 

As an active user of Instagram, Sonny takes to the photo-sharing platform to post snippets of his busy lifestyle as well as life at home with his fiancée Lauren. 

Sharing images from the behind the scenes of his work, Sonny’s feed is filled with smiley selfies and mischievous videos with his radio co-hosts. 

In 2020, announced that Sonny would be taking part in the 2021 series of ITV’s Dancing on Ice. Proving to be a man of many talents, Sonny went on to lift the Dancing on Ice trophy as he was crowned the winner.
