Oghenemaro Mile Itoje, known professionally as Maro Itoje, is a lock and blindside flanker for English Premiership team Saracens as well as the England national team.

Currently taking part in the 2019 Rugby World Cup, Maro is described by many as a ‘hard-working’ player, with great agility.

Throughout his career as a professional rugby player, Maro has won four English Premiership titles, three European Rugby Champions Cup titles and two Six Nations Championship titles.

Having always been into sports at school, Maro played basketball, football and rugby alongside athletics. Maro also represented England during the Under 17s shot put.

At age 19, Maro made his senior debut for Saracens in 2013 and picked up the Man of the Match award after leading his team to victory in the European Champions Cup final in 2016.

Maro also represented England at Under 18s and was Captain of the England Under 20s team during the 2013-2014 season.
