Influencer Matchmaker works with Love Island Stars!
Yep! It’s that time of year again and we couldn’t be more excited. We’ve all been patiently (or not so patiently) waiting for this year’s season of Love Island to begin and it’s finally here!
Guys and gals have settled into the villa of love for a red-hot summer, but before we get to know this year’s line-up, we’re taking a trip down memory lane and reminiscing about all of the fabulous campaigns and collaborations we’ve worked on with previous islanders.
Love Island (as we know it) has been on our screens since 2015 and we've been fortunate enough to work with some of the show’s most memorable stars.
We work with both influencers and brands to create the ultimate influencer marketing campaign. From taking on the brand’s brief to sourcing the perfect influencer, we handle everything from concept through to completion and we’re honoured to have worked on the below campaigns.
Jack Fincham, Sam Gowland and Alex & Olivia Bowen: Hotels.com
Global booking platform Hotels.com has worked with us on various campaigns and over the years, we have paired the brand with Love Island royalty.
From Alex and Olivia Bowen to Jack Fincham and Sam Gowland, Hotels.com have come to us on numerous occasions.
Alex and Olivia worked with the travel firm to discuss all things hen and stag do’s whilst boosting awareness of the brand.Â
Pre-pandemic, we partnered Hotels.com with Jack and Sam ahead of the Champions League Final in Madrid. We handled all UK and overseas logistics and the campaign, which was shared across Instagram, was hugely successful.
Arabella Chi: Defender Security
Defender Security was keen to raise awareness of the importance of keeping women safe ahead of International Women’s Day and to do so, we partnered the brand with former islander, Arabella Chi.
Promoting the brand’s personal alarm, which comes in the form of a small, handbag-sized gadget, Arabella also shared a discount code, encouraging other women to make a purchase and stay safe.
With almost 700,000 followers on Instagram, Arabella also utilised the campaign to promote female empowerment.
Olivia Bowen: Eleventh Hour Beauty and Mochara
Olivia Bowen is someone we work with quite regularly, so her name will be sure to pop up more than once! We love working with Olivia and were thrilled to have her take part in Eleventh Hour Beauty’s #standwithsalons campaign in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.
With a passion for hair and beauty, Olivia made for the perfect match and helped the brand to raise awareness of the campaign.
Also incredibly passionate about horse riding and a keen equestrian, Olivia has her very own horse, Dolly, and therefore was the ideal influencer to team up with Mochara.
As a quality provider of equestrian clothes, Mochara was seeking an influencer to promote and share its stylish and affordable activewear amongst the equestrian community – and Olivia helped them to achieve just that.
Alex Bowen: California Raisins
As a health and fitness fanatic, former Love Island star Alex Bowen was the ideal match for California Raisins in its campaign to ‘Raisin the Bar’.
Now working as a personal trainer with his very own health and fitness app, Alex Bowen took to Instagram to share the brand’s campaign, documenting his favourite pre-workout energy boost with California Raisins whilst sharing the benefits of the product. And of course, the campaign was a huge success!
Dr Alex George: Public Health England & The Cabinet Office
The coronavirus pandemic was a difficult time for everyone, but many found comfort in the form of their favourite influencer and Doctor – Alex George.
He won the nation’s hearts during his season of Love Island and has continued to soar in popularity, becoming the nation’s Dr.
Using his platform to raise awareness of general health and wellbeing, it made perfect sense to partner Dr Alex with the Cabinet Office ahead of the reopening of pubs and restaurants during the easing of lockdown restrictions.
As a former A&E Doctor, Dr Alex utilised his social media power to demonstrate the importance of social distancing and sanitisation stations to keep people safe when out and about.
There we have it! A cherry-picked selection of some of our favourite influencer marketing campaigns with former islanders.
We can’t wait to see what this year’s show has in store for us and more importantly, to see what this year’s islanders get up to – both during their time in the villa and upon their departure!
