James Martin is a popular British chef and TV personality, best known for his cooking programmes on BBC and ITV.

Having always had an interest in food and cooking, James studied catering and became a chef before venturing into the world of television and media.

James first appeared on TV back in 1996 on shows such as Ready Steady Cook and The Big Breakfast. And in 2005, James appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in fourth place.

More recently, James has presented a number of popular shows including James Martin’s French Adventure, James Martin’s American Adventure and Saturday Morning with James Martin. He is also a regular on ITV’s This Morning, showcasing seasonal recipes and dishes.

James also has a number of restaurants, bakeries and cafes and uses his Instagram account to document his culinary skills at home, as well as sharing the behind the scenes of his work.

James is one of Britain’s most-loved professional TV chefs.
