Babatunde Aléshé is a British actor, comedian and writer from Hackney, London. Having toured across Britain doing stand up comedy shows, Babatunde has performed at some of the biggest venues, such as the Soho Theatre, the Shaw Theatre, The O2 and the Hackney Empire, even appearing on Live at the Apollo. 

Babatunde’s acting career has also been highly successful as he as appeared in shows such as Law & Order: UK, Doctor Who and the iconic soap opera EastEnders. Game shows are also a favourite of Babatunde’s as he has taken part in The Weakest Link and Richard Osman’s House of Games.

Alongside his comedian friend Mo Gilligan, Babatunde features on Channel 4’s Celebrity Gogglebox. Getting together with Mo, the pair get comfy and watch television together providing a raw reaction to latest shows or current events, keeping the nation entertained.

Getting recognition for his talent, Babatunde was awarded the Amused Moose National New Comic Award in 2019, followed by the Best Newcomer at the Black Entertainment Comedy Awards.

Babatunde’s television presence is about to reach new heights as he embarks on his arguably biggest challenge yet. Set to go down under and enter the jungle, Babatunde will be appearing on this year’s season of ITV’s favourite reality television show, I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Facing the snakes and spiders, we are excited to see how Babatunde will deal with facing his fears whilst continuing to entertain the nation.
