Rising to fame on ITV’s The X Factor, Jake Quickenden soon became a household name.
After finishing The X Factor in 12th place in 2014, Jake has gone on to become a well-known TV personality. Following on from his success as a singer, Jake worked as a presenter on the music channel Chart Show TV. Prior to this, Jake previously played professional football in Australia for two years.
Later that same year, Jake took part in the fourteenth series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, entering the jungle on day five. Establishing himself as a firm fan favourite from the get-go, Jake finished the competition as a runner-up to Carl Fogarty.
Regularly appearing on reality TV shows, Jake also took part in the 2018 series of Dancing On Ice, in which he was crowned champion. Jake’s string of appearances on a number of reality TV shows has proven to be extremely beneficial for his career, as he also landed a role in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks.
Well-known for discussing difficult topics including male mental health and depression, Jake is making it his mission to ensure these issues are no longer seen as taboo. He is also recognised for his hilariously honest commentation of popular TV shows on his Instagram Stories, including Love Island.
