Round Up: Our Best Campaigns From the Last Six Months
Round Up: Our Best Campaigns from the Last Six Months
We have had a very busy yet exciting first half of the year here at Influencer Matchmaker. Our Influencer team have been hard at work pairing up the best influencers in the business with leading brands.
To give some insight into what we've been doing, here are a few of our favourite campaigns of the year so far…
Celebs work with Hotels.com for the UEFA Finals
Ahead of the 2019 UEFA Champions League Final in Madrid, the event's official sponsors Hotels.com hosted a 'Champions Retreat' with the stadium's hospitality area. We secured four social media influencers, plus one celebrity guest to attend the match.
As part of the campaign's influencer requirement, we matched the brand with former footballer and TOWIE star, Mark Wright and his cousin Elliott Wright, as well as 2018 Love Island Winner Jack Fincham and The Apprentice star Andrew Brady.
Jessie J was the celebrity guest in attendance on the big day. With 8.1 million Instagram followers, the born and raised Spurs fan was a huge name to have represented the brand.
With a combined following of over 4.8 million, the influencers posted several images to their Instagram accounts alongside a series of Instagram Stories. We have also previously partnered Love Island stars Olivia Bowen and Alex Bowen with Hotels.com.
Giovanna Fletcher works with Amazon Handmade
Earlier in the year, we partnered up best-selling author and 'mummy blogger', Giovanna Fletcher with Amazon Handmade to promote their wonderful service of handmade products as part of their 'Mum's the Word' campaign.
As one of the most recognisable Mum's on Instagram and over 1.1 million followers, Giovanna was the perfect match for the campaign. The collaboration was centred around Mother's Day and Giovanna selected 20 of her favourite products to feature on her Amazon Handmade page, and took to Instagram to tell her followers all about the brand and their campaign.
AD | I don’t know about you, but I had no idea Amazon had a handmade section on their website - handily called Amazon Handmade! They asked me to have a gander and highlight 20 of my favourite pieces from their artisans in the hope that it might give you some inspiration for Mother’s Day. All the items are available with super speedy delivery thanks to Amazon Prime and half of them can also be personalised to make them extra special and bespoke. Mother’s Day is a brilliant day to show your appreciation, but most mums don’t want you breaking the bank on their behalf, so it’s nice to see so many individual products for under £20! Head to the link in my bio to see my favourites! @AmazonHandmade #mumstheword #amazonhandmade #mothersday
Cartoon Network's Gameplay with Fruity
In-line with the launch of The Lego Movie 2 videogame, we partnered up popular teenage YouTube gamer Fruity with Cartoon Network. With over 400,000 subscribers on YouTube and sharing the same target audience as Cartoon Network, we successfully matched the pair for this campaign.
For the collaboration, Fruity filmed a gameplay video demonstrating the key features of the game and shared his opinions. The video was then shared to YouTube.
#ArmsUp with Dove, Dianne Buswell and Tallia Storm
Leading personal care brand Dove launched their #ArmsUp campaign, hoping to help reach and empower women, making them more confident with their underarms.
Our experts matched Dove with two high-profile influencers - Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell and singer Tallia Storm. The pair filmed the #ArmsUp campaign video and uploaded to their Instagram stories as well as posts.
Together, Dianne and Tallia opened Dove up to 1,262,000 followers and through their Instagram posts from the campaign gained them a total 139,120 likes.
#PawsforThought with Ceva Animal Health
In March 2019, Ceva Animal Health launched the UK's first pet anxiety month, #PawsforThought. Raising awareness of Adaptil, we expertly paired them up with high-profile social media influencers - TOWIE's Pete Wicks, ex-islander Alex Bowen and TV presenter and DJ, Ashley James.
The social media campaign was Instagram focussed, producing stories as well as posts, with the influencers discussing how the products have helped their furry friends.
Dominic Littlewood talks New Year’s Resolutions with Public Health England
At the beginning of the year, we formed a successful partnership between British television presenter Dominic Littlewood and Public Health England. Forming part of Public Health England’s 'How Are You?' Campaign, Dom discussed New Year’s Resolutions and why as a nation, we are so quick to quit.
For the collaboration Dom took part in a filming day where he sat down with Canadian psychologist and author, Dr Linda Papadopoulos, to find out why people don’t stick to their resolutions. The video, which also gave tips on simple ways we can avoid disappointment, was posted on Public Health England’s YouTube channel to help people at home stay on track.
The Perfume Shop and Misha Grimes
We have worked with The Perfume Shop on multiple different campaigns, including Mother's Day and Father's Day. We successfully partnered them with several different high-profile influencers to promote the brand on their own channels..
More recently, we paired The Perfume Shop with influencer Misha Grimes to create a video discussing the new launches.
Those are just to name a few! We have also collaborated with the likes of eBay with influencers Syd and Ell for an outfit challenge as well as Em Sheldon for a blog post.
We are so excited to see what opportunities and collaborations the rest of the year has in store.
