Love Island is finally back on our screens and the islanders have been soaking up the sun for just over a week. 

We may only be one week down and with plenty more to go, but already, we’ve seen tears, drama and lots of tension! 

Follower counts are continuing to rise, and fans of the show have already picked their favourites, but for brands, here are the islands to watch with impressive rates of social media growth... 

Luca Bish 

Already recognised for his witty sense of humour and one-liners, Luca appears to have been a huge hit with fellow islanders and the outside world – and his rapid increase in Instagram followers is proof of exactly that. Working as a fishmonger before joining this year’s line-up, Luca is down to earth, stylish and is sure to be an influencer that various fashion and lifestyle brands should be keen to work with upon his eventual departure from the villa. In just one week, Luca has seen the biggest growth in terms of Instagram followers with an impressive increase of almost 7,000%. 

Paige Thorne

Already donned this year’s ‘national treasure’, Paige has captured the hearts of the nation with her sweet personality and charming nature. And, after just a few short days, Paige’s Instagram had skyrocketed, with an increase of over 5,775% - which we expect will only continue. A paramedic, a keen traveller and a sure style icon, Paige is rapidly rising in popularity and would make the perfect match for brands seeking an influencer marketing collaboration for all thing’s lifestyle, fashion, beauty and travel. 

Davide Sanclimenti 

Having given himself the title of the ‘Italian Stallion’ this year, Davide was announced as part of the original line-up, although entered the villa a little later in the first episode. It wasn’t long before both islanders and fans of the show were blown away by his good looks and charming Italian ways, and brands will no doubt be ready and waiting to work with him upon his departure from the villa. Demonstrating his passion for food and health and fitness during the show, Davide will be the ideal influencer for brands looking to boost awareness and sales. 

Ikenna Ekwonna 

Nottingham lad Ikenna is also climbing the ranks in terms of social media growth and is developing quite the fan-base already. Dividing fans with his choice of footwear, Ikenna is clearly into men’s fashion as he loves a statement shoe – in the form of a pair of Crocs! Cool, calm and collected, Ikenna is definitely one to watch, both inside the villa and once he returns home.

Amber Beckford

Fierce and fabulous, Amber is one of this year’s islanders that is rising in popularity both online and in the real world. A natural beauty, a passionate traveller and with an eye for fashion, Amber will be the perfect addition to an influencer marketing campaign upon her departure from the villa of love. With an increase of almost 2,000% in Instagram followers, Amber seemingly has a one-way ticket to a life of success! 

Tasha Ghouri 

Making her mark on this year’s series already, Tasha is the very first deaf contestant and is now an inspiration for others who are also hard of hearing, continuing to raise awareness and break any remaining stigma. Wearing her “super power” with pride, there is no stopping Tasha in her quest to find ‘the one’. And with a dedicated Instagram account dedicated to raising awareness for the deaf community, Tash is quite the inspiration. The blonde beauty has previously worked as a dancer and model, placing her in great stead for future influencer marketing campaigns.

Indiyah Polack 

With an impressive Instagram following already, Indiyah was cast as part of the original line-up for season eight of Love Island. Recognised for her witty ways and energetic personality, Indiyah is sure to be a force to be reckoned with amongst both fans and brands. Having already worked with popular fashion brands, we expect to see Indiyah climb the ladder, particularly within the fashion, beauty and lifestyle industries.
