Tom Clare is a football player who plays for Macclesfield Town F.C. of the Northern Premier League Division One West. Set to leave the club temporarily, Tom is hanging up his boots to join the winter cast of ITV2’s favourite reality TV show, Love Island.

Coming through the youth ranks at Barnsley F.C., Tom has had a successful football career, but is now on a quest to find love. Looking to bring good vibes into the villa, he will hopefully be the first bombshell contestant of the series, depending on the votes of the general public.

Prior to his entry to the famous villa, Tom has commented 'since my ex-girlfriend, no-one’s really come to me and I’ve thought, ‘Wow’. Until I have that, I’m not really going to settle for less. Not in a bad way, but the next person I get with, I want to marry.'

Setting himself high expectations, we are excited to see how Tom will get on in the villa, featuring on our screens every night for the foreseeable future.
