Rebecca Lightbody, better known by her nickname Rebs, is best known for being one of the youngest contestants ever on the 2022 series of Channel 4’s favourite reality baking show, The Great British Bake Off.

Aged just 23 at the time of filming, Rebs quickly became a viewer favourite and has since continued her love for baking and cooking, which she shares with her large and highly engaged following on her Instagram page.

Growing up in the countryside of Northern Island, Rebs is infatuated with the Irish culture, even being skilled in Irish dancing as well as being able to play the tin whistle.

Having early memories of baking from the age of just three years old, Rebs would help her mum cook and bake in the kitchen, as well as recalling being fascinated by her Granny’s renowned lemon meringue pies.

Fast forward to today and Rebs has more recently reignited her passion for baking, turning to her creations to unwind from the stress of a busy life in her professional world of tech.

Known for her winning personality and having built up an incredible social media following, we are excited to see what is to come for Rebs as she now focuses on expanding her digital footprint.
