Michelle Heaton is an English pop singer, actress and television personality from the Northeast of England. First rising to fame all the way back in 2001, Michelle was known for her appearance on Popstars, a reality TV show which sought to form the best modern pop group.

Despite finishing as runner up, Michelle teamed together with her group to form their girl-band, Liberty X. From their start-up in 2001 to their split in 2007, the group enjoyed seven top 10 singles as well as winning two Brit Awards.

Since splitting with the girl-band, Michelle remained in the public-eye and frequently appeared on our screens, popping up in shows such as Celebrity Big Brother, Come Dine With Me and Fáilte Towers.

Continuing her passion for music, Michelle teamed up once again with two former Liberty X members, Kelli Young and Jessica Taylor, to perform their music once again at multiple Pride events and music festivals.

Michelle has also joined the girl group Atomic Kitten and performed with them for their international tours before settling with them in Australia back in 2017.

Recently, Michelle returned to our screens once again as she took part in the 2023 series of Dancing on Ice. Despite her only making it to week three, where she was eliminated, Michelle’s appearance on the show left viewers amazed, and we hope to see her back on our television screens again soon.
