Maxy is best known for reaching the quarterfinals of the 2022 series of Channel 4’s favourite reality baking show, The Great British Bake off. Quickly becoming a fan favourite, Maxy has since amassed a large following of engaged avid bakers over on her Instagram page.

The Swedish-born baker studied fine art and then went on to achieve a master's degree in architecture. During her time studying, Maxy paused her final qualification to turn her attention to raising her two young daughters, Tyra and Talia.

Baking came as part of motherhood as Maxy wanted to provide sweet treats for her first born daughter. Combining her love for architecture and her newly-found passion for baking, Maxy uses her strong artistic skills to create outstanding decorative celebration cakes.

Wanting to intertwine her Scandinavian heritage in with her creations, the sweet and delicate spice of cardamom and saffron buns and cinnamon rolls often feature, in which she shares to her Instagram pages. 

Having a fun and winning personality, and having built a nice and creative community, we are excited to see what is to come for Maxy as she continues to grow her online presence.
