Lydia Karakyriakou is best known for being a bombshell contestant on the 2023 winter series of ITV2’s favourite reality dating show, Love Island. Entering the villa during the infamous Casa Amor week, Lydia, originally from Glasgow, became the first Scottish islander of the series.

Working as a retail customer assistant before her stint on the show, Lydia sadly departed the villa at the end of the Casa Amor week when the villas combined back together as she was left without a coupled partner.

On entering the villa, Lydia had stated that she was after someone to make her laugh and support her, saying: "I’m looking for someone to bounce off and someone who is able to support and care for me. Humour is a big thing, too, so I’m looking for someone who’s not too serious and can have a laugh."

Even though Lydia was only present in the villa for a week, she definitely made an impression, amassing an incredible social media following on her Instagram page.

A feed full of glamorous snaps, Lydia showcases her travels around the world to places such as the Balearic Island of Ibiza and Portugal as well as enjoying city breaks to Paris.
