Liam became a fan favourite on the popular television show The Great British Bake Off, and despite coming fifth, he’s had a winning TV and social media career. 

He started baking at the age of 14, and throughout university, where he studied Drama and Theatre Studies, he earned the nickname of ‘cake boy’, before appearing on our television screens on GBBO at the age of 19.

His cheeky-chappy charm amused viewers, and his baking skills impressed the judges – it was obvious that he was destined for success. 

Liam’s career has blossomed, with multiple presenting opportunities being sent his way. He had his own cooking show, Liam Bakes, and co-presented Bake Off: The Professionals as well as Junior Bake Off.

His natural ability to work in front of the camera has been clear to see, and no doubt means we will continue to see him in presenting roles in the future. Liam has also delved into writing, releasing two cookbooks, Cheeky Treats: 70 Brilliant Bakes and Cakes, and then Second Helpings, as well as writing a column in The Guardian.

In terms of social media, Liam keeps fans updated with upcoming projects, tasty recipes and funny pics on his Instagram, keeping a light-hearted positive feel to his feed whilst remaining connected with his loyal audience.
