Kain Reed is best known for his appearance on the 2023 winter series of ITV2’s favourite reality dating show, Love Island. Jetting-off to South Africa to join the girls of the cast, Kain entered the famous villa at the start of the drama-filled Casa Amor week.

Although his stint on the show didn’t last long, Kain made a great impression and quickly became a viewer-favourite, resulting in him gaining an impressive social media following.

Prior to his entry in the villa, Kain commented that he was excited to test relationships and get heads turning. He added that he loves a challenge and is a very competitive person, whether that’s in sport or grafting girls.

The energy consultant from the Northeast, Gateshead, became the first Geordie contestant on the series and has also done a number of modelling jobs which he shares with his followers over on Instagram.

A keen footballer, Kain has had an impressive amateur career in the sport, playing for Newcastle United’s academy before progressing into their under 18 squad. Leaving the club, Kain flew across the pond to play football in America for the Marshall Thundering Herd men’s soccer team at the Marshall University of Huntington, West Virginia.
