Jonathan Broom-Edwards is a heroic para-sport athlete, competing in high jump at the Paralympics. 

Jonathan was born with Talipes Equinovarus, however, this hasn’t stopped him from pursuing a successful sporting career, inspiring people from all over the world.

Jonathan was born with Talipes Equinovarus, however, this hasn’t stopped him from pursuing a successful sporting career, inspiring people from all over the world. 

Originally getting into basketball because of the clothing that could cover areas of his leg that he felt self-conscious about, he turned to athletics to help improve his jump shots in basketball. 

However, after discovering a natural talent and a passion for high jump, he started off his new sporting career, and began to show off his leg with pride. 

Now, Jonathan is a gold medal winning Paralympian with an MBE for his service to athletics – his hard work and dedication is clear for all to see. 

Jonathan also works as a massage therapist with his own diagnostic therapy business in Loughborough, as well as working as a public speaker. His ambitious nature and devotion to athletics is admirable, as well as his passion to help people. 

He is also an ambassador for the charity Miracle Feet, which focuses on helping children around the world to gain access to treatment for clubfoot.

Jonathan regularly posts to Instagram, and is a popular health and fitness influencer. Sharing content about his training as well as posting motivational tips and tricks, Jonathan often documents snippets of his personal life, such as buying a home. 

More recently, it was announced that Jonathan would be taking part in the latest series of SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2022.
