Crystelle Pereira is a self-taught baker who reached the final of The Great British Bake Off’s 12th season in 2021. Born in Northwest London to Kenyan born, Portuguese-Goan parents, Crystelle grew up in very close family. Being the youngest of three, the family would often bake together, and Crystelle would usually take the role of “Chief taster”. Ever since then she’s had a great passion for baking.

Crystelle was an extremely popular figure on the reality television show, showing off her baking skills where she would use her heritage to create special Portuguese-Goan recipes, all with exciting flavour combinations that blew the judges and viewers away. 

To say that she hasn’t been in the public-eye for long, Crystelle has made the most of it. Appearing on The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice as well as Richard Osman’s House of Games. Crystelle was also a guest presenter at the 2022 Bishop Auckland Food Festival, and to top it off, Vanity Fair named her as one their Top Performances of 2021. 

Stealing the hearts of the nation, the viewers fell in love with Crystelle. The talented baker has amassed a very large and loyal following, spanning out across Instagram and TikTok.
