Based in America, Charli D’Amelio is a worldwide TikTok phenomenon. Beginning her career on the app in 2019, Charli has since gone on to become one of the most recognised faces on the internet.
Earning popularity for her dances, lip-syncs and montages, Charli’s self-titled channel is the most followed account on TikTok with over 84 million followers. Spending ten years as a competitive dancer as a child has certainly put her in great stead for her creative career online.
Collaborating with a number of popular creators, Charli was a member of the TikTok group, The Hype House and has posted many videos and photos alongside the likes of Addison Rae.
Proving her popularity and high-profile social media status, Charli fulfilled her dream of dancing with her idol Jennifer Lopez for an exclusive Super Bowl Challenge. Charli then went on to star in a Super Bowl commercial for Sabra Hummus.
As well as sharing quirky dance routines, Charli also posts photos in her favourite outfits as well as sharing what she gets up to with friends and family on Instagram. More recently, Charli has teamed up with Dunkin’ to have her favourite drink added to their menu, named ‘The Charli’.
In August 2020, Charli announced that she was releasing her first book, titled ‘Essentially Charli: The Ultimate Guide to Keeping it Real’, all about staying positive and navigating social media.
