About Alex…

Having previously played for Arsenal as a former professional footballer, Alex Scott MBE soon ventured into the world of TV and broadcasting. 

Alex represented GB at the 2012 London Olympic Games and is one of the most well-known names within the female sporting industry. After retiring from the sport in 2017, Alex then turned to a full-time career in media. 

In 2019, Alex appeared as a pundit during the FIFA Women’s World Cup and has appeared on many popular shows such as Soccer AM, BBC Sport, BT Sport and Sky Sports. Also, in 2019, it was announced that Alex would be the new co-host of Sky Sports’ Goals on Sunday alongside Chris Kamara. 

Alex was a contestant on the seventeenth series of BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, finishing in an impressive fifth place. Prior to this, Alex appeared on Bear Grylls’ ITV show, Mission Survive, which she ended up winning. 

For her ongoing services to football, Alex Scott was appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2017. 

A regular user of Instagram, Alex uses the platform to share the behind the scenes of her work, as well as glamorous red-carpet selfies, outfit photos and snaps from her travels around the world.
