Jordan Banjo is an acclaimed street dance artist and member of the nationally renowned dance troupe Diversity. The group performed on the popular talent show Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, and proceeded to win first place against fellow contestant and nationally acclaimed singer Susan Boyle.
Since then, Jordan and the group have gone on to pursue an array of tours and performances and have gathered immense online popularity throughout their journey to fame and success.
Following his success with the group, he and fellow Diversity member Perri Kiely became backstage presenters for the show Got To Dance in 2013. Soon after, the pair went on to host their own television show, Jordan and Perri’s Ultimate Block Party, transforming youth clubs into a dance troupe. Their hosting activity provided them with further media popularity and the pair were announced to host the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards in 2014, 2015 and 2016 consecutively. Jordan currently hosts his own radio show on Kiss FM alongside Perry Kiely and has previously worked as a digital host for ITV’s Dancing On Ice.
Later in 2016, Jordan was announced to be taking part in the popular reality television series I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!. Because of this, he temporarily diverged from performing arts to embark on further television roles and become a reality television star as well as a professional dancer. Now, Jordan is enjoying his role as the host of The Greatest Dancer.
During his rise to fame over the years, he sparked a relationship with Naomi Courts and announced the birth of their first child in 2018, taking to social media channels such as Instagram to document the news. Now, Jordan is a father-of-two and uses social media to document his day to day activities as a parent, dancer and TV personality.
